The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of law enforcement discretion in the context of a social crisis.
Chapter 1 "General Theoretical Analysis of the Social Crises Impact on Law Enforcement Activities" examines the theory of social crisis in the plane of law enforcement activities; the concept, signs of law enforcement discretion and its role in regulating social processes; determinants of the law enforcement discretion analysis in the context of a social crisis.
Section 2 "Law Enforcement Discretion Under Martial Law in Ukraine" provides a systematic analysis of the features of law enforcement discretion under martial law in the field of jurisprudence; the principle of legal certainty and the significance of its compliance for law enforcement discretion under martial law; the boundaries of law enforcement discretion under martial law in Ukraine.
