The impact of economic sanctions mechanizm on the global economic security

The dissertation is devoted to the study of economic sanctions as a key instrument of the modern system of international economic relations and their impact on ensuring global economic security. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the sanctions policy against the RF in connection with its full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
Chapter 1 «Theoretical and Methodological Foundations for Studying the Impact of Economic Sanctions on Ensuring Economic Security» defines the theoretical basis of sanctions and the sanctions mechanism in the context of economic security. The study found that economic sanctions have become a key instrument of international relations, used by states and international organizations to influence the behavior of other states, corporations, or individuals without the use of military force.
Chapter 2 «Analysis of global practices in the application of economic sanctions policy» examines in detail the impact of sanctions policy on the Iranian economy. It is determined that the mechanism of economic sanctions is formed within the instrumental paradigm, as it involves the use of various means of influence on the target country with the aim of causing economic damage.
Chapter 3 «Ways to improve the effectiveness of global economic sanctions institutions as a means of combating countries that violate international law and customs» examines the impact of economic sanctions imposed by countries around the world on the RF in the context of the war in Ukraine. It was the start of RF's full-scale aggression against Ukraine that prompted the introduction of the most extensive and coordinated economic sanctions in modern history.
