The development of international innovation in the global economic crisis.

Abstract

Dissertation is devoted to development of theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of the international innovation and development of scientific and practical recommendations for the formation of a single global innovation space, taking into account the effects of the global economic crisis. The theoretical foundations of the cyclical development of the global economy; It defines the role of innovation as a quality factor of economic growth amid the global economic crisis; the organizational bases of formation of the state innovation policy. A comprehensive, logical structural classification system definition of innovation; investigated the causes of cyclical development of the economy; The author’s definitions of «international innovation» and «global innovation gap». The tendencies of development of the world economy in the context of globalization; the analysis of the development of international innovation in the global economic crisis; assesses the dynamics of innovation activity in Ukraine in the context of the impact of the global economic crisis. Identified global trends in the world economy in crisis; identified prerequisites of transition to the unipolar world polycentric through the formation of the four main centers of scientific progress: the US, EU countries, Japan, China. Directions promoting international innovation in the global crisis; identified priority approaches to the formation of the national innovation system in the context of the global economic crisis; developed organizational and economic mechanism of development of innovative activity in Ukraine. Established key objectives promoting international innovation in the global crisis; proved the absence of a universal model of the state of development of innovative activity; developed a conceptual mechanism of investment support of innovative development of the country.
