Transformation of investment potential of global economy in the conditions of cyclic development.

Abstract

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of the process of transformation of the investment potential of the global economic system and the development of scientific and practical recommendations on the formation of a complex of its countercyclical regulation in the architecture of trends in global economic development. In the dissertation, theoretical on revealing of interrelation between formation of global investment potential and cyclicity of global economic development are generalized and the theoretical and methodological approach to its analysis is improved. The conceptual apparatus of the research was improved through clarification of definitions of the concepts «investment potential of the economic system», «economic cycle». The contours of the investment potential of the global economic system have been revealed and systematized. The scientific and methodological approach to assessing the investment potential of the economic system has been improved. The general trends of cyclical global economic development, the structure and directions of the dynamics of the formation of global economic flows are determined. Systemic identification of transformations that occur under the influence of the cyclical nature of global economic development in the process of forming the investment potential of the global economy by quantitative and qualitative criteria is carried out. The quantitative bases of definition of effective levers of formation of investment potential of the countries in conditions of global economic dynamics are offered. The approaches to the improvement of institutional mechanisms of anticyclical regulation of investment potential are grounded. The mechanism of anticyclical regulation of the investment potential of the global economic system is developed taking into account the revealed transformations in the processes of formation and development of investment potential.
