Legal Status of Companies with Foreign Participation

Abstract

The thesis researches the legal status of companies with foreign participation. The author introduces an improved definition of a company with foreign participation and its types (joint venture and foreign enterprise). The development of the legal framework related to the status of companies with foreign participation is divided into periods. The thesis substantiates the major ways of improvement of the relevant legal framework. Regulations on acquisition and termination of the legal status of companies with foreign participation have been revised; material basis of their activities has been made more specific; rights and responsibilities of such enterprises have been clarified; the issue of the guarantees of the rights of companies with foreign participation has been elaborated.
