Transformation of enterprise business process management under the influence of digitalization

The dissertation is devoted to solving an important scientific and applied task related to the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for studying the transformation of enterprise business process management under the influence of digitalization, as well as the development of scientific and practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of business process management in view of the current challenges of the transformation period.
The relevance of the research is determined by the fact that digital transformation has acquired the status of a key factor in increasing the competitiveness of enterprises, encompassing not only the implementation of the latest information technologies, but also a profound restructuring of internal business processes, changes in management approaches, and interactions with customers and partners. The topic becomes particularly acute in the context of postcrisis recovery of Ukraine's economy, when enterprises are forced to seek new ways to ensure sustainable development, and systematic transformation of business process management using digital tools is an important prerequisite for achieving strategic goals, increasing personnel productivity, and building a modern innovative business model. In light of the constant development of digital technologies and the transformational transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, there is a need for indepth research on the transformation of business process management in the context of modern Ukrainian enterprises.
A comprehensive analysis of the development of business process management (BPM) methodologies from the classical approaches of F. Taylor and A. Fayol to modern BPMN standardization has been performed. The impact of standardized BPMN notation on the interaction between business analysts and IT specialists has been studied, which significantly simplified the modeling, documentation, and optimization of processes. At the methodological level, it has been determined that effective business process management in the context of digitalization requires interconnected stages of process regulation, modeling, standardization, and continuous improvement.
